Project Manager is the name of the enhanced version of the Projects functionality in ARchitect. It helps you improve workflow consistency and data integrity related to any project you need to manage.
Project Manager allows you to have customizable Templates with the right Custom Fields available for users to populate, presented in a logical, organized manner based on the Project Type (e.g., vendor evaluations, events, product launches, etc.).
Project Manager also provides the ability to have different sets of Project Stages depending on the Project Type and the ability to set stage restrictions (e.g. the user can’t move a project from one stage to another without meeting certain criteria).
The standard fields for all Projects (with or without Project Manager enabled) are as follows:

**When Project Manager is enabled for your organization – working together with our Customer Experience team – your ARchitect site admin can choose to have it configured with all of the default Project Types and their associated Project Stages and Templates, or you can selectively choose which Types to include in your ARchitect site.**

With the out-of-the-box configuration of Project Manager, each Project Type includes a default set of stages and custom fields organized in a configurable template. ARchitect site admins can customize the template and/or create new, additional templates.
The remainder of this article outlines the default custom fields (and the template sections they’re in) for each Project Type. All fields and sections can be easily removed or changed, or new ones added. No stage restrictions come out-of-the-box, but the right hand column in the tables below include optional suggestions/ideas for adding your own stage restrictions.
